Community-Wide Protection Plan (CWPP)
and Risk Assessment – $76,000
We are bringing in a Registered Professional Forester to do a community-wide landscape and risk survey (Three Rivers and Kaweah). This plan helps prepare for future fuels reduction projects, protection of native species, projects to remove of invasive species, evacuation as well as shelter-in-place planning and mapping. From the CWPP we develop our priorities and seek funding for projects.
Outreach and Education – $34,000
Educational materials, community workshops, wildfire preparedness events, defensible space and home hardening evaluations, special outreach for vacation rental visitors
as well as motels.
